The latest version of J-BusinessDirectory, 5.8.24, brings a series of improvements aimed at extending functionality, streamlining user management, and enhancing the overall user experience. Alongside these updates, several bugs have been fixed to ensure smoother operation and reliability. Below are the highlights of the update.


Improvements
  1. Added more intervals for hourly rates to extend the intervals covered.
  2. Updated validation engine.
  3. Added a default menu itemId for multiple operations to prevent redirection to the homepage.
  4. Assigned the user that claims a listing to the business user group.
  5. Removed the packages option from payment services for front-end processors.
  6. Prevented the deletion of a listing with an active subscription.
  7. Improved user registration mechanisms to ensure the username and password are received when the user is created automatically.
  8. Added new events for the creation of items:
    • onBeforeJBDSaveListing
    • onBeforeJBDDisplayListing
    • onBeforeJBDSaveEvent
    • onBeforeJBDDisplayEvent
    • onBeforeJBDSaveOffer

Bug Fixes
  1. Fixed character encoding on search filters (special characters were being shown as encoded instead of displaying correctly).
  2. Fixed timeout errors on the front-end control panel.
  3. Fixed the style issue for Style 1 on the event details page.
  4. Fixed the bug related to available dates.
